Brian Dolezal began as Vice President of Mueller Marketing & Communications in January 2018 after 12 years of providing public relations and public affairs support for Mueller through the communications firm Hahn Public. Brian is responsible for overall communications for the entire 700-acre, mixed-use, mixed-income community, including promotions, community engagement, and issues management. He also provides public affairs and management support to Mueller’s property owners association as the board’s immediate past president.
Previously, Brian was vice president of client services for Hahn Public with a focus on serving clients in the land use and transportation sectors. He joined the firm as TateAustin in 1996. Over his tenure, Brian provided strategic planning, public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, message development, special event planning, neighborhood outreach, and community relations expertise to diverse clients ranging from Brandywine, Crescent, Redleaf, and DPR to Whataburger, H-E-B, Whole Foods, and Capital Metro.
In the community, Brian has held leadership roles on the boards and committees of Leadership Austin, the Austin Parks Foundation, and the Austin Fine Arts Festival. He was honored with an “Austin Under 40” award in the Marketing/PR category in 2014.
Brian graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Journalism/PR.
